France: 1/8 Nats: Colinet Tq's and wins with Serpent

Colinet Top-qualified with Serpent 966 at the 2nd french national race of the season in Conarneau. Colinet also won the semi-A. In semi-B it was Serpent driver Mathieu to take victory and take his place to the main final. In the final he was able to lead the race and go for victory. A total of 4 Serpent's in the final was a very good result.

USA: Apolaro takes the Florida State Title with 720-09

This past weekend was the 7th and final round of the series and I decided to just run Sedan and finish what I started. I had already missed one race, so I needed to attend this final race. I had a very large lead in the points as I have TQ'd and won most of the races. All I needed to do for this race was basically just register and I would be fine.

A deflection is a shot which redirects a shot or a pass towards the goal from another player, by allowing the puck to strike the stick and carom towards the goal. A one-timer is a shot which is struck directly off a pass, without receiving the pass and shooting in two separate actions. A deke (short for decoy) is a feint with the body and/or stick to fool a defender or the goalie. Headmanning the puck, also known as cherry-picking or breaking out, is the tactic of rapidly passing to the player farthest down the ice.
